You are known for being at the top level for many things including: fashion, law,
economics, music, and art. Do you ever get exhausted of all the work?I am very grateful for all the opportunities I have had. These are my passions, so
I do not view them as work. I enjoy going to art museums, just as much as I enjoy
practicing law. The hardest part for me is to stay abreast of the most recent
updates in the field. It would be great if there was a single job that combined all
of my passions but I have not found that yet!
What would you like to tell the former version of yourself?I would like to tell myself I am right where I need to be. I would often compare
myself to others who were on a linear path: like law school, paralegal, junior
associate, partner. It’s important to remember success is not defined by titles or
other peoples growth – it is important to believe in yourself and stay focused on
what you want to accomplish.
Paloma what is your favorite attribute?I am most proud of my ability to adapt. I am able to adapt to different
environments while understanding the importance of not compromising my valuesystem.
What is your favorite type of cuisine?
Lately, I have been favoring Thai food. I am known for being a pasta lover. I
decided to try something other than wheat noodle, and opted for rice noodle. I
really enjoy Chicken Pad Thai and recently have started to make my own sauce
from scratch.
We know you have been to Dubai several times- where would you like to travel to
within the UAE?
I would really like to visit AlUla. I appreciate UNESCO World Heritage sites and
would like to see how the ancient sites were preserved and blended with the new
influx of tourism and modern luxury. A perfect itinerary for me would be a tour of
the Rock formations in the Nature reserves. I enjoy being in nature and hiking in
different landscapes. After a long day of activities I usually like to unwind at the
spa and then discuss highlights of the day over a nice dinner.
